Featured Pictures: “Evangelism Marathon Begins”
Dear Friends and Family,
Greetings in the name of Jesus!
We have great news from Bride of Christ Church here in Swaziland. The Lord has raised up a core group of servant hearted people with evangelistic zeal to take the gospel to those in the surrounding areas. We sense that the timing is right for a great harvest of souls here in Swaziland and specifically in Mpolonjeni and the surrounding areas.
Charity, Pastor’s Wife
This past Saturday we went out to an area about 20 minutes walking distance from the main church and did “open air” ministry. This consisted of teams going door to door with candy and gospel tracts to homesteads in the area. As the teams went out, we set up our generator and speakers and played really loud music in a centrally located area where there is a lot of car and foot traffic. Normally on Saturday this area would be very quiet and serene. We alternated music with evangelistic messages and finally an invitation to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and invited them to come to church on Sunday. We believed in faith that the Lord did something in the hearts of the people who heard the message of salvation. As a result of our efforts on Saturday, we had lots of new faces in Church on Sunday. Six of the new adults and ten children responded to invitations to receive Christ.
Getting Prayed Up
Please pray that the evangelism marathon continues to be productive for the Kingdom. We sense from the Spirit’s leading that we are to continue at a brisk pace. We will be doing outreach every Saturday for eight weeks straight in this area to set up a new fellowship or cell church, then moving on to a new area that is still in relatively close proximity to the main church. We are planning on continuing with this type of outreach for 1 year, Lord willing. Our hope is to have 6 new fellowships or cell churches set up and functioning at the end of the evangelism marathon.
Please pray with us that many will come into the Kingdom. Pray that lives will be changed.
Thank you all for your faithful support and prayers. Your generous giving has enabled us to purchase the generator, speaker system and microphones. We continue to be the “bible people” distributing them freely for those who need one. We will be purchasing a 20 by 30 foot tent to be used at the satellite locations to get them up and going.
We love you so much and praise God for you in our lives. We would love to hear from you! May God Bless you and keep you,
Randy, Karen and Shelly Brennan
