May 19, 2007 – Senzo

Dear Friends and Family,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

The very first night the children were in their new home, they were washing up and getting ready for bed. The littlest one, who is only 6 years old, was so excited to take a shower. Where he lived before, he did not have a shower. In fact, he did not have running water or electricity.

As Senzo was getting ready his older brother said to him, “It’s not only a shower, it’s a hot shower.” This was a first for this little one. Senzo was so excited to take a hot shower, that he got in the shower and forget to take off his underwear. He hopped in with his underwear on!

This was a new day for Senzo—it was the first day of a new life. The Lord has blessed him with a place to live where Mom loves him and where Godly principles are taught and lived; he has a new family with brothers and sisters; a home that has a fireplace to keep warm and even stays dry when it rains; a home where he has three meals a day and the opportunity to go to school.

Each and everyone of you have been a part of making this a reality for little Senzo. We would like to thank you for your continued prayers and support. You are helping to build the kingdom of God here in Bulembu, Swaziland.
