Dear Friends and Family,

Greetings in the name of Jesus! Our “family” continues to grow at the “I Am Not Forgotten” project. We would like to share with you another story of how the Lord continues to take care of the orphan in a miraculous way.

The two newest additions to the family
The two newest additions to the family

The two newest additions to the family are Temcebo and Msandi Gamedze. Temcebo is a girl who is 6 years old. Her brother, Msandi is only 2 years old. The children are from a Children’s Cup CarePoint in Moneni, Swaziland.

The children are double orphans. Their parents both died in the last 6 months due to complications from AIDS. After their parents died, they continued to go to the CarePoint to eat. The children were taken care of by the cooks at the CarePoint and by the older teenage girls. They would clean them up every morning, feed them and take them back to their parent’s home at night. There were no immediate family members to take care of them. The teachers and cooks agreed that they could not continue to live this way and that a permanent move must happen quickly. The teachers called nurse Jessie and she called us. The children’s belongings were gathered together and we moved them up to “I Am Not Forgotten” until a permanent home can be found for them.

They are settling in nicely with their new family. They have a safe place to sleep every night, food and many brothers and sisters to play with. The total number of children that Mrs. Masilela cares for is now up to 12 children (including 2 of her own). In this picture there are 4 extra kids from the community that come here to be loved on and cared for!

We are amazed at how God continues to care for these little ones. Please pray with us that the Lord continue to meet all of their needs all of the time.

Blessings,
